In BOS , there are three types of resources: CPU, NET, and RAM. Users can stake/consume BOS in exchange for the right to use resources.
CPU/NET belong to staking resource. When BOSaccount is transferred, voted, etc., it will consume the computing power and bandwidth of main net. In this case, some BOS need to be staked in exchange for CPU/NET, and daily computing power and bandwidth will be reset after 24 hours. Staked BOS can be redeemed at any time, but there is a 72-hour redemption period (After redemption, BOS needs 3 days receiving).
RAM means internal storage and belongs to consuming resource. RAM is mainly used to record account information, including account balance, public key, staking, vote, smart contract, and so on. Personal BOS account information needs 3KB-8KB to store. RAM can be bought and sold at any time, each charging 0.5% fee, and the price also changes with the scarcity level of RAM.
