The Platform Token DEX Is Officially Issued on the BSC and ETH Chains

Hello! Newdex platform token DEX will be officially issued on the BSC and ETH chains at 12:00 on July 23, 2021 (HKT).

The following content will be used to explain the multi-chain issuance mechanism of DEX token. Currently, DEX has been issued on the EOS, ETH and BSC chain. The mechanism is as follows:

According to Newdex Whitepaper 2.0, the total supply of DEX on the entire net is 100 million. The following issuance mechanism will ensure that the DEX actual circulating supply in multi-chain ≤100 million

1. DEX is issued separately on the ETH chain and the BSC chain. At present, the initial DEX supply of each chain is 1 million. Through multi-chain swap, EOS DEX can be swapped to ETH DEX or BSC DEX；

2. Each create Foundation lockup address and circulation address on the ETH chain and the BSC chain, and the amount of DEX in the lockup address + the amount of DEX in the circulation address = 1 million DEX; DEX of the lockup address cannot be circulated, traded and transferred;

3. Map the amount of circulation address of the ETH chain and BSC chain to the EOS chain. This part of tokens cannot be circulated. The lockup address corresponds to “eth.newdex” and “bsc.newdex”. This is to ensure that the total amount of DEX on the EOS chain ≤ 100 million through mapping;

4. The amount of DEX on the EOS chain: unreleased DEX + circulating amount + circulating amount mapped by other chains + burned DEX amount = 1 million DEX;

5. In the future, we will continue to use this issuance mechanism to explore other chains to ensure that the actual circulating supply of DEX on each chain ≤ 100 million DEX;

Multi-chain swap:

DEX can be swapped between multiple chains. In the future, if a large amount of EOS DEX is swapped to other chains, the circulating supply of EOS DEX will be greatly reduced.
